5 tips to help you get back to reading after a long break

It often happens that after reading a very fascinating book you are “burn out”, that is the feeling of “book hangover”, it happens to me very often and I do not think that I am the one.

It occurs because many people like to comprehend the book after reading it, constantly thinking back to the main characters and events of the book. This period is sometimes delayed, which causes a reluctance to start another, and there are some excuses and deeds that hinder further reading.
I have been looking for a solution to this problem for a long time, and I think it will be superfluous if I share my life hacks with the same readers as I.

1. Make yourself read.

If it was not strange, but it is up to you and only your willpower will help you with that. Read at least one page a day and reading will start to progress.

2. Find the company for reading.

This life hack is very effective because you will have a mutual motivation to read and a chance to share your thoughts about the book.

3. Podcasts

If you want to read and you can’t make yourself — listen. It’s always something new. By the way, the most inspiring are the books or stories voiced by the author himself.

4. Start by reading already familiar books.

Sometimes already read books may trigger your desire to read new ones. Surely try!

5. There is no need to panic about a “book hangover.”

Fear always spoils everything. So just, take it as usual because sometimes the reading break makes the next book a lot tastier when you start reading again.

Finally, I want to tell you that when you have the opportunity — read it! Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Because the world would be a very sad place if you, as readers, could only love one story.
