A business-oriented man is not a profession-oriented person. The business has its own losers, winners, and even heroes. Ingvar Kamprad belongs to the heroes of the Swedish business.

There are many factors that contribute to success in business. The greatest number of difficulties is experienced by those who have just stepped on the path of creating and developing their businesses. The first step becomes almost irresistible for most people. But still, we know many people who have started their business from scratch up and achieved incredible success! And I want you to introduce one of them.

Now, Ingvar Kamprad is one of the richest people in the world, known as the founder of the Ikea company.

For many Swedes, he is not just a successful businessman, but practically a national hero – he is often talked about as a person who has done much more for people than many high-profile public figures. And even though Ingvar Kamprad retired before his death and handed over the management of Ikea to his followers, his principles and management techniques will forever remain in the history of the business.

Starting with selling matches piece by piece to his neighbors, he founded the company at the age of 17. The quick- thinking man began to focus only on selling home furnishings, and a couple of years later already opened his first showroom in the old workshop building. That’s what started the history of the company, which is represented in almost every country in the world!

At the end of this article, I would like to present the inspirational quote of R. Murdoch, at least partly it relates to I.Kamprad, “The world is changing very fast. Big will not beat small anymore. It will be the fast beating the slow.”

So, don`t waste your time. Think big and fast!
