After the death of her sister, Jules, a young girl, became the guardian of two nephews – a seven-year-old girl and a teenage boy. Jules can hardly make ends meet; she is forced not only to feed and dress them, but also to give them care and attention because now she is replacing their mother. On the eve of the Christmas holidays, the family travels to Europe at the invitation of their grandfather, which no one knew about. The film “A Princess for Christmas” I can confidently call one of the best in the genre of melodrama. This film also belongs to the genres of comedy, family and drama, since it is full of everything. It is so saturated with emotions that it is difficult to imagine a more soulful, easier-to-follow film on New Year’s theme.

Exchange Vacation
The romantic comedy “Exchange Vacation” tells about a risky way of spending the New Year’s holidays, when two strangers change houses with all their contents. For example, two blondes are taken, one thicker, the other thinner, from the change of whom comes the universal happiness.
Distant, unfamiliar young women, unfortunately face each other on the Internet and decide to change the situation, despite the fact that even at the negotiation stage, the inequality of the exchange is obvious. The producer’s Los Angeles mansions are much more comfortable than a hut lost in the snows of Surrey, to which you can’t even get a taxi: the last few hundred meters the heroine Diaz overcomes through the snow on breaking hairpins, clinging to sympathetically leaning Christmas trees…what will come of this whole story? This atmospheric love comedy is perfect for watching on Christmas Eve!
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is a 2018 American fantasy adventure film directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston based on a screenplay by Ashleigh Powell. It is a retelling of E. T. A. Hoffmann’s short story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” and Marius Petipa’s and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker, about a young girl who is gifted a locked egg from her deceased mother and sets out in a magical land to retrieve the key. The film stars Keira Knightley, Jayden Fowora-Knight,  Helen Mirren, and Morgan Freeman.
Having received an unusual gift for Christmas, young Clara sets off on an exciting journey to mysterious places: the Land of Snows, the Land of Flowers and the Land of Sweets. But the girl also needs to get to the fourth kingdom, where she will have to face a whole army of mice led by the incredibly dangerous Mouse King… It is the great movie for Christmas!
