One day of winter vacation: expectations and reality

The time of winter holidays is one of the most anticipated for all schoolchildren and students. We plan a lot of different delightful things. Often after the New Year, we want to change something in our lives. But winter holidays are really taking place as we plan it. So I will tell you about one of my days – the winter holidays…

Morning

Expectations:
I will get up at 7 o’clock to do exercises and get ready for a run.

Reality:
Already 10 times postponing the alarm “for another 5 minutes”, I fall asleep again. It’s the tenth hour and the sun is shining right in my eyes, so it’s impossible to sleep. I woke up tired. I don’t want to do any exercises, and there’s no question of running.

Breakfast

Expectations:
I’m starting to eat RIGHT. I scrolled dozens of diet websites, so I’ll make myself a light breakfast of cereal with whole grains and a glass of kefir.

Reality:
Yesterday I was in the supermarket and forgot to buy food for breakfast. I found a fascinating piece of cake in the refrigerator. Fate itself sent me such a delicious Breakfast.

Day

Expectations:
Today  I will go shopping with a friend at 10 o’clock.

Reality:
11: 30 I am finishing the cake that became my breakfast and hear the doorbell ring. An evil friend came for me because I was already an hour and a half late for the meeting. She yelled at me but saw the cake. We ate it with two spoons.

Expectations:
I’m cleaning the apartment and transplanting my mother’s violets.

Reality:
My friend and I turned up the music at full volume and started daft dancing while wretched violets fell from the windowsill. I had to clean up the ground.

Evening

Expectation:
Today should be a concert of a famous artist. I will definitely go there.

Reality:
After an active dance in my apartment, we were tired and fell asleep. We were awakened by a feeling of hunger. The refrigerator is empty. I had to go to the store. Almost all the food from the supermarket was in our basket. When we were well fed, morphemes captured us again and we started scribbling…The road to a dustbin is paved with magnificent metaphors…

Before bedtime

Expectation:
We need to take stock of this day and make a plan for tomorrow.

Reality:
I dream of the sea. Light breeze, waves and swimming.
