(film review)

I surf Instagram actively and often use the tips of bloggers. I have recently seen a recommendation for a new movie. The film is called ‘Ready or Not.’ The story is screened with fresh faces and released in 2019. I got very excited about watching this film.

So, “Ready or Not” is the American horror-comedy film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. Grace, the bride of a rich guy must pass the test before entering the family. Her test is to win in ‘hide and seek.’ She was not too lucky because this test is the most difficult in this family. This game is not for life but for death. Young Grace in her ripped wedding dress with blood blurs and weapon behind her back looks weirdly wonderful. On the one hand, the plot is enticingly thrilling. It grasped my attention from the first minute. I wanted to know what would happen at any moment of this film. On the other hand, the idea struck my head that in general, the film was intriguing and at the same time weak. The actress looks like Margot Robbie (an Australian actress) but with her unique appearance. Until the last shot, there was a feeling of tension and emotions.

The film is full of smart quotes. One of the best belongs to Daniel Le Domas to Grace: “Don`t take it personally. They are just trying to figure out if you are a gold-digging whore. You know like my wife.”

The ending of the film did not disappoint me. And I can say that the ending is the best part of this film. I hope that in our life there will be more good films. Do you share your views with others? In my opinion, we should help each other to find good films. My rating is 4.8 from 5 stars.
