The book ‘Magic Folk Tales’ by the publishing house “Family Leisure Club”, which was published back in 2012, still fascinates me today.

Sometimes I want to remember my childhood, and I look through this book with a feeling as if I went back to my past… The book was translated from Russian by Roman Stavytsky. I would like to write that the illustrations are splendidly and succinctly selected thanks to Maryna Babych, Olena Gordienko, Maryna Magomelova, Ukrainian artists, who put the sparkles of their hearts in them. It should be noted that the hard cover charmed me till the bottom of my heart in my child years…I begged my parents to buy it for me at once, when I noticed it on a bookstore. This mesmerizing masterpiece was designed by Inna Burmachenko who could cast spells on all illustrations she made.

The book is decorated in a beautiful way: the content is awesome, appealing and amazing. In fact, it’s great that the whole team worked on it, and it’s good that this team managed to create such a prodigious publication. What I also liked about the book is that almost every page has footnotes explaining a word if the child does not understand and signed illustrations that will allow the child to better understand and memorize the material. The publication contains all sorts of fairy tales and even fables from all over Ukraine, the publication also contains old Ukrainian legends, which can not but interest children, because they love to read mysteriously magic stories. When I read the legends, it seemed to me that I was told an ancient secret that only I know. As a kid, I used to love this book.

I recommend this fascinating fairy-tale book to parents so that they can show it to their children! Discover this wonder of magic fairy tales! My rating is 10/10.
