The investigation immediately had a version that Gucci’s ex-wife Patricia Reggiani was involved in the murder. Everyone knew about their public scandal over the fact that Gucci left his ex-wife for an affair with a young mistress. But is an angry woman capable of committing a crime? The police were unable to find any evidence of this, so the investigation dragged on for as long as 2 years…

But one day completely changed the course of this story. The police got information about a certain Ivano Savioni, who could be the killer. During the interrogation, the man confesses that he carried out the contract murder of Maurizio Gucci. It turned out that he was really organized by the offended ex-wife ― through her psychic friend, whom the spirits suggested this idea to.

The trial ended with a serious sentence ― the killer was imprisoned for life, and Patricia Reggiani was sent to prison for 26 years. True, in the end, after serving half of the term, she was released from prison ― for good behavior…
