Actually, that’s a rhetorical question. Everyone all around the world knows that it is very important to be literate because in this case, you will be respectable in any group of people. As Jiddu Krishnamurti said, there is no end to education.

Your education does not finish with last exams and your Institute, college or University diplomas. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning. From the beginning of our life till the end, we learn new things even if we don’t notice that. Reading books is the best way to educate yourself. From kids’ books, we learn how the world is arranged, fiction entertains us and when we already know how to think independently and have our personal thoughts and tastes, we start reading professional literature based on themes we are interested in. It’s also very important to visit different book exhibitions and festivals because you can not only have a good time but also get to know interesting people.

Rene Descartes once said once, ‘The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries.’ Writers whose books are popular even through centuries must never be forgotten. They will live forever in books that they’ve written, and which are lying in our shelves. On the other side, there are more and more new writers who can also be called ‘legends.’ For example, now, in 2019 there are such poets and writers who are famous and loved all around the world. It’s, actually, nonsense because almost all classics of prose became famous post mortem. In the years of their life and career development, they were nobody. Nowadays we see another picture: people start recognizing our future legends of writing art.

And that’s amazing! We should support them and be ready for everything brand new and cutting-edge innovative. Some nerdy jesters say that the era of dead-tree-editions, meaning books, is over. I don`t think so. Eternal things live eternally. Buy Books. Read Books. Be Better. Be Smarter. Be Wiser. New books are waiting for you!
