War is More Than A Word. Thank you for support…

(essay)

War is a terrible word. Probably everyone in the twenty-first century did not think that this grief could return again. We are all used to seeing hostilities only in American action movies and other similar films and TV series. It used to entertain us, but now I don’t want to watch it. After all, things that happen in the cities and villages of Ukraine are more atrocious than even in horror movies.

The war is a tragedy not only for one country, but for the whole world. It just feels different to everyone. After the war, life can no longer be what it used to be. There are thousands of people who have experienced or are experiencing situations that the psyche can not stand. I want every Ukrainian not to give up and fight for his family and country. You can fight not only with a machine gun in hand, but, for example, as a volunteer, help as much as you can – financially, physically, morally. This is very important and necessary for our soldiers. It is also necessary for the people who suffered at the hands of the occupiers, the most.

I hope much that soon the word “victory” will be on our lips, not “war.” The second is much nicer and calmer. To do this, our President and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing everything possible. We are also supported by many other countries, respecting justice, freedom and democracy. First of all, these are Poland and Great Britain, Canada and the USA. It is nice that other nations do not stand aside and help as much as we can. This is what helps us live on and stay. Thank you from the whole Ukrainian youth…
