Before the recent lockdown, I managed to visit a new book cafe for me –“На Станіславського” (Konstantina Stanislavskogo street 3). I do recommend you to save this post, and visit it when the red zone restrictions expire. Meantime travel with me in my blog!

In the first place, the place is extremely exciting. It is all decorated in one style – the style of a theatrical buffet. Every detail is thought out – it is a tea set, to the knitted thread on the sideboard. And of course – decorative pillows, elegant tables or chairs, toilet (for the first time in my life, I saw a tile that would be decorated with mold) and napkins, absolutely everything is perfectly matched to each other. There are also enough books – you will not find the latest novelties here, but fans of more tattered copies will be interested in bookshelves. There is a huge collection of old books! You can enjoy reading them while drinking cup of coffee or a little bit longer…

What I also enjoyed – there is one small room in cafe, but so reasonably located that you can find a place to work properly or relax with friends. And… At this place, you can order a liter of tea. And this is the first time I have not been able to drink it all. Even though I was not by myself. Tea was delicious, to be honest, and a waitress was charming — what else do you need in a good book cafe?

In general – a very cozy place, genuinely interesting and atmospheric. And in the heart of the capital city, though a little hidden!
