Christmas is a beautiful holiday, isn’t it? Yeah, I think so, which is why it needs to be done properly. The right dishes, the right decoration of the room and the most important thing — the right music, of course. Therefore, the five best, in my humble opinion, Christmas songs are brought to your attention. I’m sure everyone knows them, but there’s nothing to stop me from making my own little list. Like they say, “for posterity” or something.

1. Last Christmas by Wham!

An old and unshakeable classic song that we all love and respect. I don’t remember the first time I heard it, but no Christmas goes by without it and for me it`s the second favorite Christmas song.

2. Carol of the Bells (Schedryk) by Mykola Leontovych

The first of my two favorite Christmas songs, which sounds out of almost every window of my house, not to mention the whole neighborhood, town, or country.

3. Snowman by Lionel Baker

This song was sent to me by a friend during the discussion about winter in general, and although it’s not a very popular song, I’d really like the whole world to hear it. It’s very soft and sensual song.

4. I’ll be home for Christmas by Bing Crosby

For me, this song is good for performance and meaning, because it speaks of World War II soldiers who wanted only survive and return home to their families.

5. The Christmas sweater by Michael Bublé

The song is about the American tradition of wearing Christmas sweaters with various patterns of trees, deer, and Christmas toys, as well as the inviolability of tradition regardless of fashion.
