In a small village on the outskirts, there was an old Christmas tree that everyone considered special. A legend had it that if you hung a note with a wish on it on New Year’s Eve, it would come true.

Little Ivan had long dreamed of a miracle for his sick sister. So on a frosty evening, when everyone was celebrating at home, he quietly went to the Christmas tree. On a piece of paper he wrote: “I want Mariia to get well,” and attached it to the highest branch.

When the clock struck midnight, the tree shone with an unusual light. The next morning my sister woke up and suddenly said:
