Boryspil!

(blog article)

Hi, friends!

Today I want to share a little story from my short trip to Boryspil — a small town not far from Kyiv. Mostly known for its international airport. But this time my journey wasn’t about flights or travels abroad.

Of course, I couldn’t pass by the airport — once so busy and full of people from all over the world. Now it stands empty and silent, closed because of the war. It felt strange and a bit emotional to see it.

But Boryspil is not only about the airport. I spent some time walking in the Central Park — a very cozy place with lots of green trees, flowers and local people enjoying their day. Kids were playing, someone was walking their dogs.

There are few large shops and establishments in this city, but there are many small cozy cafés and quiet streets.

Boryspil stays strong. It’s quiet, but full of life.

Have you ever visited small towns like this during your travels? What places left you with unexpected emotions or memories? Let me know in the comments — I’d love to read your stories!
