On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, Ukrainian football team had an International Friendly football match with France football team in a near-empty Stade de France. As a result Ukraine lost 7-1 to France.

The goals were scored by Olivier Giroud Eduardo Camavinga, Corentin Tolisso,Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe, also there was an own goal by Vitaliy Mykolenko, while Ukrainian team punched only one revenge goal by Viktor Tsygankov.

These results could be easily explained. Ukraine coach Andriy Shevchenko had to improvise with six injuries and eight COVID-19 cases in his expected yellow and blue squad. That’s why he had to use the other team members not ready to play at that time.

The coach of the Ukrainian team said, “I had a very serious talk with my team after the match. They have to be more responsible despite the situation that we have now.”

The Ukrainian football team is going to max out and train more than ever planning to win the next match with Spain next Tuesday.
