(miniflash story)

Masha saw a vacancy for a chef in a famous restaurant and immediately decided that this was her chance!

The interview was going well until the restaurateur suddenly asked:

“Why is there a light in the fridge but not in the freezer?”

She sighed and decided to improvise:

“Well… When you’re hungry at night, you definitely need a light to see what you’re taking out of your fridge!”

The restaurateur laughed.

“And… Why is there no light in the freezer?”

“So as not to confuse it with the refrigerator.  You don’t stand there in the middle of the night, nibbling on frozen chicken or broccoli, and think, ‘It’s time to throw away these food leftovers from the holiday dinner.’”

The restaurateur laughed even harder and clapped his hands:

“HA-HA-HA! Congratulations, you’re hired.”
