Students` Personal Lives and War Blackouts

(campus interview)

Students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University answered the question: how to arrange a personal life on the second shift?

Due to the reduction of staff at Kyiv University, there is a shortage of lectures, so the second shift was introduced for the 2nd-year journalists. Our team decided to interview students and find out their secrets, namely: how they survive with such a schedule and whether they have time for their personal lives. Here are the responses we received:

Anna
Finding time for personal life is as difficult as finding time to read a book – very difficult, but possible.

Nazar
Of course, I have a big personal life. Everything is virtual and I have romantic dates with homework and homework.

Olya
Time for a personal life? Yes, I always find it between 3:00 and 3:01 on a Tuesday morning… once a year.

Residents of the city of Chernihiv answered the question: how to survive a blackout?

Because of the war, Ukraine is going through difficult times, so people are preparing for a (almost) new phenomenon for them – a blackout. We decided to ask the residents of Chernihiv how they prepare and what they expect from winter.

Nastya
I expect that the blackout will give me the opportunity to start research in the field of archeology of my refrigerator.

Andrew
I expect that I will have a supernatural ability to guess where all the furniture in the room is located, and I will finally stop stepping on it.

Ivan
Waiting for all the electronic devices to finally start resting with me.
