Ostap was always the best at everything. At school, he attended many clubs, won prizes in various competitions, and had excellent grades. The teachers called him the ‘golden boy.’

But after the summer vacation in the 9th grade, Ostap changed. Either it was the influence of his Grandma`s village or not, nobody knows. He had already graduated from a music school with honors, had several gold medals in swimming and certificates for excellent studies at school. The boy’s interests changed, and he no longer sought to be the best in everything. However, the teachers still remembered him as the ‘golden boy’ and wanted him to continue participating in competitions.

This annoyed Ostap and one day, when he was again invited to the competition, he said, “My leg will not be here.” The teacher was shocked to hear this from him.

After that, Ostap was no longer bothered with contests and competitions. He became an ordinary student, just as he wanted, and no longer heard the nickname ‘golden boy’ in his direction.
