September 27, 2025. In Bielefeld, a gentle and generous German city, an exciting and emotive event happened for the whole Ukrainian community – the open-air concert of a splendid Ukrainian singer and an elegant femme – Zlata Ognevich.   

From the first minutes, the former participant of Eurovision, Zlata enchanted the audience with her electrifying energy and wonderful voice, melodic marvel and magic of eyes. The cheerful public got an esthetic pleasure from a palette of styles, emotions and feelings.

At first, there were touching lyrical Ukrainian songs, resembling traditional vyshyvanka (embroidered shirt), with shades of joy, cherry blossom and soulful beauty.

Then came the songs performed in a powerful and peppy Broadway style, in which Zlata was extremely exceptional. On her fashionable high heels, she danced like a femme fatale from a first-rate Chicago or New York show.

At the end of the concert, the singing ambassador of Ukraine, Zlata Ognevich, inspired Ukrainian and partly German listeners from Bielefeld with passionate patriotic songs supporting our multi-suffering Motherland in the hard times of the Russian-Ukrainian war and calling on compatriots for assistance and spiritual strength.

Gradually, the whole musical event turned into a huge hit. Hundreds of spectators asked the smiling and sincere singer to take selfies with her and, being happy, sent photos to their friends and relatives.

As in the concert with Antonina Matvienko, there were a lot of cheerful eyes mixed with the faces of those women who silently wiped their tears, missing their fighting husbands and their ruined houses in Ukraine.

Once again, the whole Ukrainian community in Bielefeld is grateful for this joyful and, at the same time, touching event to the German-Ukrainian Association DUBG, and personally Tetyana Shu.
