(essay)
I guess that this is a quite multifaceted topic. We look at planning from different angles. If you think about it on a large scale, you can see that most of our life is planned immediately after birth. That is, all natural processes that we must perform on time have already been invented for us by creation itself. We perform certain processes and actions according to nature’s plan. We learn to be individuals in society not because we planned it that way but because it is necessary…
Every person should learn to walk, talk, think, make friends, start relationships in time. Otherwise, society will not perceive us as part of itself. In the same way, people control their next stages in life: coming to school, entering a university, getting a job and other socially important steps. In this way, a person holds his life in his own hands, and everything seems to pass on time, naturally and without extra details.
However, can we really get pleasure from such standard routine and planning? In my opinion — no. It is in this question that the other side of this topic is revealed. Because each of us is an individual. We have our own specific characteristics of how we want to live and what we want to do. And everything doesn’t always have to go according to a mainstream plan. You need to give yourself time to relax and just enjoy the moment, what is happening around you.
Because what does a completely planned life look like? It is gray, depressing and uninteresting, consisting only of significant big deeds that affect the future. However, it is the little things that bring colors to human life: a striking surprise can significantly change not only a person’s mood, but also views on the world in general. Sudden decisions can open up new opportunities for a person and the desire to change something for the better. Unplanned acquaintances can lead to people who will eventually become the most important in life. This is how we pass from the stage “life is a form of existence” to “life is a form of satisfaction.”
It is worth understanding that our life consists not only of large stages that we MUST go through, but also of small details that we WANT to live. These little things can be anything: an unplanned trip, buying a delicious cake or a comfortable sofa, just a walk in the picturesque park, breakfast in your favorite cafe. Learn to do what makes you feel good – then you will keep up with your plans and be happy.
Remember that despite the huge list of planned and important things, you should not forget to let joyful moments in your life that make you happy. You need to be able to turn off your control over everything that occurs around you, at least for a while, and just enjoy every day. Especially in our difficult time, when every minute can be the last for many people. Appreciate all the moments of life. And then everything will happen naturally and harmoniously.
