Beauty and the Beast

(Derailed fairy tale)

“Love is a power that can conquer everything.” A message known to everyone who has read a fairy tale at least once. Belle, a young and lovely lassie, read a lot of fairy tales. There were many of them in the only library in the town where she lived. She loved and used to trust them. So she was sure that she could change the Beast if she met him somewhere.

One day, she encountered him occasionally, sitting on a big boulder on a river bank.  In a while, she fell in love with him, rushed to him fast and started reading to him, dancing with him, cooking for him, fulfilling all his wishes, complaining about anything. But this was always not enough. The Beast was displeased. He shouted at her day in and day out and once even broke the furniture. “He will change,” Belle kept on telling herself, “I must be patient, patient and once again patient.”

Time passed, but nothing changed. There was nothing left in the castle to break except the heart of Belle. She began to fade right on the eyes of her unhappy parents, but the Beast’s rage only rose. He was not going to turn into a noble prince.

“Had he ever been a prince?” Belle thought sadly while the Beast began to tear down her best dress to pieces. “I guess, I shouldn’t have believed those fairy tales,” was the last calm thought flashing in her mind… In a while, she stood up saying firmly, “Why don`t you go and f**k yourself! The hell is waiting for you, moron!” With these words she hit the Beast with her frying pan and went to live with her ‘old flame’ – her classmate Vasya…

As for the Beast, several times, he brought her bouquets of beautiful flowers and promised to change himself. However, the heart of Belle was lost to him forever.
