Want to write a wonderful brand story? I always wished to do it myself. Here is my first variant, and I believe that it is not the last one…

“The jeans you got from your grandfather. It sounds doubtful, doesn’t it? However, we have proven that denim from our brand is timeless. The quality of the clothes ensures they will last for multiple generations, while the stylish design remains timeless. But how did it all begin? Let us immerse in historical events.

When the gold rush was happening in the mid-nineteenth century, and people from all over the world were flocking to the American mines in search of good fortune, our brand’s father, the diligent Levi Strauss, figured out how to take advantage of it and decided to provide gold miners with durable clothing. He found a thick cloth and dyed it blue with indigo dipper. The fabric was brought to him from France, from the city of Nîmes, and this is how the name ‘denim’ appeared – ‘from Nîmes.’ Later, with the help of tailor Jacob Davis, the garment was improved with friendly-fitted button fasteners and firmly fixed pockets. It is how we all came up with our preference piece of clothing – jeans.

We have come across scores of stories that have stood the test of time. Today, we would like to share one such story with you. Once, a train driver used his trousers to tie two carriages together, and the train arrived safely at its destination. It is the story behind the brand’s logo. Each of you can check for yourself how high quality all Levi’s products are by purchasing your favorite model, looking for it in your relatives’ wardrobe, or even visiting a second-hand store. Once you try on Levi’s, you won’t want to buy jeans from other manufacturers.
