‘Little Red Riding Hood from Odessa’

(derailed fairy tale)

Once, on a splendid sunny day, Odesa’s mother put together a basket of pies for Odessa’s Red Riding Hood and gave her last guidance before her wild woodland hike to Grandma Sonia:

“So listen here, child. Don`t do my nerves! When you come over to your grandmother, she will immediately start crying to you that, oh wow, winter is coming very soon, the faucet is blowing, the tap is running, there is nothing to heat, the roof is blowing, there is no money at all, what do you, granddaughter, know about this life…But you don’t listen to anything, just stop her blah-blah hurricane with words, “Did you have a fight with your brains? Let`s better do a bazaar.” Then stand firmly on your own price: pies with cabbage – 20 hryvnias each, with meat – 30 hryvтias!”

P.S. And the wolf could have stayed alive if he had not spoken to a strange girl in a red hat in the dark forest.
