Mom always told Maria that during her studies at school she was very diligent and did not miss a single lesson. She always received only high grades and performed at all school events.

One day, while visiting her grandmother, Maria decided to ask if all of that was true. And her grandmother said that it was not, and her mother even had an ‘unclassified’ mark on her math report card.

Maria then asked:

“Mom, why did you say you were a straight A-student?”

Her mom replied:

“Maria, these were just porky pies to encourage you to be more disciplined.”
