To start with, our country it’s one of the biggest countries in Europe. Ukraine has a lot of landscape types, including splendid seascapes, marvelous mountain scenery, fascinating forest groves, but I want to talk just about our mountains, the Carpathian Mountains.

They belong to the eastern wing of the great Central Mountain System of Central Europe, curving 1500 km along the borders of Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Austria, Serbia, and northern Hungary.

The Carpathians present one of the greatest destinations in Ukraine with breathtaking views. When you come to this corner of Ukraine, to feel the true grandeur of these mountains, you need to visit such sites as Lake Synevyr, mountain Goverla, waterfall Shypit and the other popular places.

What’s more, this region has a lot of traditional and exclusive dishes which I recommend tasting. It relates to local fish and banosh, mushroom soup and bograch, etc. Also, you could be offered to visit old castles closely connected not only with the history of Ukraine but the whole Europe too.
