On September 21, the members of the Scientific Society of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University had a trip to Uman, a picturesque town in Cherkasy region.

During our trip, we attended an excursion with elements of theatricalization in a city center.

Then we met with the Chief Librarian of the Uman National University of Horticulture who told us the spectacular stories about their educational institution.

After lunch, the students and teachers went to the Basilian Monastery that was built in the 18th century. Besides, the Scientific Society members attended the Local Lore Studies museum in Uman.

At the top of the trip we had a meeting with organizers of drama tours in Uman — the teachers and students of Uman’ State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna.

It was a fascinating and thought-provoking trip.
