The endless road is very tiring physically and morally. You look out the window, watching the twinkling trees, houses and travelers in other cars looking like you. All these things flash in your eyes just in seconds. All these landscapes are various and similar at the same time.

Lady Monotony tries to lull you, although sitting in the car, you felt even too excited. A muffled buzz fills your consciousness, and everything in your eyes begins to merge into a long panorama without beginning and end. Spots of light and shadow flicker in the car window, almost mesmerizing you until you forget who you really are. All that remains in the head is this eternal and endless road. Sometimes the sun suddenly reaches your eyes. The harsh light causes the pupils to narrow to the size of a grain of sand and you get out of meditation for a few minutes. There is a risk of being a little scared, because it comes to the realization that you can spend more than one hour in numbness.

Sometimes it seems that your house on wheels polarizes time and space. You no longer live by the rules of physics; you do not obey this reality. You are just passing by. This devoid of restrictions and axioms is not always sane.

Regarding the earth’s surface, all these trips seem meaningless. No matter how many hundreds of kilometers you drive, it is as if you remain in place, as in Alice in Wonderland. She tried to run away from the tree too, but stayed close to it magic roots. The only thing that can change after moving in space is your attitude towards places and people. Along the way, you can easily immerse yourself in your thoughts. This is a right time to talk to the cockroaches in your head, have tea with them or play cards. Sometimes I notice that another person is getting out of a nearby car… No matter what, you have to go somewhere again and again.
