Generation that longs for change

(miniflash story)

Lesya is a fifth grader who seriously thought about sorting garbage after the science lesson. At home, she told her parents about the importance of junk handling and they upheld her idea.

Over time, it became a habit in their family. Then she decided to involve the students of her school in this sort of eco-activity. Together with a science teacher, she came up with an event that would highlight the significance of sorting garbage. Lesya herself came up with a slogan that would motivate students. It sounded like this: “Help save our nature – help save our future!”

The event went well. The teacher supported Lesya, and the students listened attentively. As a conclusion, the teacher said a splendid quote by John F. Kennedy: Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”
