Behind a desk covered with notes and coffee cups, the “Enter” key clicks twice. If the lives of today’s students from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University could sound like a melody, it would be a cheerful jazz acoustic trio, each playing their own rhythm.

The Instagram feeds of their smartphones are full of colorful travel stories, fascinating lectures, and crazy nights in the library. The outside world sees only the fragment they chose to share. However, real life is hidden in the “Drafts” section of their lives — uncorrected mistakes, sleepless nights, and those moments when student life looks more like a modern struggle for survival.

Lectures turn into dances when they put down their textbooks and go on nightly adventures with other students. Coffee bottles become magical elixirs that helps them to survive sleepless nights before exams.

They also know how to turn their life stories into books that become popular among other students. But even when their creativity is manifested within the framework of their studies, they still keep some chapters of their lives hidden from the public.

And in this mix of laughter, stress, dance, and coffee drinks, students find their own unique rhythm, creating the melody of their modern student life.
