‘Stranger Things’

(series review)

Netflix is the most famous production company among teenagers. Its series and films are appealing for their plots, color correction, and acting.

In 2013, the company made its industry début with the series “House of Cards.” Now this series is one of the most popular. The company interprets the books in wonderful ways, which also deserves attention. I want to talk about ‘Stranger Things,’ which is one of my favorite shows.

This American science fiction series appeared on Netflix in 2016. It was created by the Duffer brothers, famous American film directors, and screenwriters.

The plot of the series tells of the events in the small fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The action is set in 1983 when a telekinetic girl escapes from a secret laboratory. At the same moment, 12-year-old Will Byers goes missing, and his mother, friends, and the sheriff actively start looking for him. It is here that the town begins to plunge into fantastic events that are hard to believe.

The creators of the series were inspired by the aesthetics of the USA in the 1980s, the works of Stephen King, Steven Spielberg, and other film and literary masterpieces.

The series has won many awards, including the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series, the Producers Guild of America Award for the Norman Felton Award for Best Drama Series. Norman Felton Award for Producing a Drama Series, the 2017 Saturn Awards in the categories of Best Actor or Actress in a Young Actor or Actress in a Television Series (Millie Bobby Brown) and Best New Media Series, MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017 in the categories of Best Actor or Actress on TV (Millie Bobby Brown) and TV Show of the Year, the American Film Institute’s Top 10 TV Show of the Year Award, etc.

‘Stranger Things’ is at the top of my list of favorite shows. The directors conveyed in an incredible way the atmosphere of the USA at that time while creating a certain mystery and mysticism. The actors were chosen so well (as shown by the great number of awards for one of the main characters) that it becomes harder and harder to look away with each episode. By the way, it is worth noting that the series will reach a wide target audience. These conclusions I make from the fact that this series is loved by me, my 28-year-old brother, and my grandmother, who is 71 years old.

So I’m looking forward to season four, anticipating a great sequel.
