(miniflash story with Cockney rhyming slang)

Vasyl bought new daisy roots (boots) two weeks ago and was thrilled with them.

This morning he was in a flurry for a meaningful meeting and couldn’t find his shoes. Suddenly, he saw his dog Lucy running with a boot in her teeth. Vasyl rushed to chase her, stumbling down and shouting “Lucy-Smoothie! Smoothie-Lucy!” But the dog kept on running. In front of him, there was a new crustard jelly (telly) and Vasyl yelled loudly, “Stop!” The dog knew that command well. The dog swiftly stops in front of the TV, the shoe flies out of his teeth into the open window, Vasyl got fiercely fuming…In a hurry, he put on one shoe and angrily left the house. The second boot he found on the roof of a neighbor’s car, quickly picked it up, put it on too and ran to the shuttle bus…

Such a morning adventure Vasyl had with his ‘lovely’ Lucy-Smoothie and it was just the beginning of his long student`s day.
