As for the classics, one of the most famous novels in the world of literature is ‘Anna Karenina’ by Leo Tolstoy who fought for human values and against the czarist despotism for all his life. This novel is a masterpiece of world literature and reflects difficult relationships between people. The main character, Anna Karenina, is dissatisfied with her marriage and falls in love with another man. Tolstoy masterfully conveys the feelings of the characters, their thoughts and emotions, which allows the reader to immerse himself in the world of the novel and feel everything on his own skin.

Another famous novel is ‘The Master and Margarita’ by Mikhail Bulgakov. Mikhail Bulgakov, a talented magic realism writer from Kyiv. This novel is a work of fantastic literature, containing a large number of symbols and allegories. The main characters of the novel are the Master and Margarita, who reflect strong feelings of love and sacrifice. Bulgakov’s novel also contains an important philosophical thought about the eternal problems of humanity: justice, good and evil.

In addition to novels, there are many other genres in the world of literature. For example, poetry is the art of words that conveys feelings and emotions with the help of rhythm and images. Poems can be diverse: from lyrical to epic. Poetry has many famous characters, among whom we can mention Taras Shevchenko, Lesya Ukrainka, Pablo Neruda, etc.

Another important genre of literature is drama. A dramatic work is a play intended for performance on stage. The drama has its own characteristics, in particular, dialogues, character characterization and stage description. Dramatic works can be diverse: from comedies to tragedies. William Shakespeare, Anton Chekhov, Oscar Wilde and others can be noted among famous playwrights.

In the world of literature, there are many genres and famous works that remain relevant and interesting even after some time.
