Discover the cultural realities of yesteryear through the public association ‘Ukrainian Cultural Heritage.’ This organization is dedicated to uncovering and preserving the priceless cultural heritage of the nation, which hostile forces attempted to erase. At the core of the brand’s mission lies the revival of historical treasures, and one such gem is the resurrection of the esteemed newspaper, ‘Homeland Echo.’ Founded in 1906 in the city of Hadiach, Poltava Governorate, this newspaper served as a vivid chronicle of Ukrainian life in that region. Throughout 1919, its pages adorned a myriad of societal events, cultural and historical perspectives, and nuances of political discourse.

For over a century, the newspaper ceased to exist. However, now in the 21st century, ‘Ukrainian Cultural Heritage’ is once again preparing to publish it and actively gearing up for one of the first reissues of the printed newspaper ‘Homeland Echo.’ The newspaper amalgamates the value of cultural heritage with important contemporary themes and innovations.

With an unwavering commitment to unveiling hidden narratives scattered across Ukraine’s archives, the association’s team passionately engages in extensive countrywide research. They seek and disseminate information that, despite its significance, might have previously slipped from widespread recognition. The culmination of our tireless efforts is the dissemination of these splendid findings, serving as a beacon of knowledge that enlightens Ukrainians about their country’s past and, importantly, their place within it.

Chairperson of the association, Oleksiy Novikov, publishes certain editions that directly relate to historical and cultural realities in his own publishing house, FOP Novikov O.S. His aspiration to unveil lesser-known aspects of Ukraine’s history through these publications embodies a commitment to preserving and popularizing the essence of the national heritage. The last edition was ‘Heritage 5,’ which Novikov personally handed over to the director of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Archives, Mr. Oleksandr Tedeev.

Through the brand’s efforts, they aim to ignite a newfound respect for the past, empowering Ukrainians to embrace their heritage and contribute to the ongoing narrative of our remarkable nation.
